Docteur Labus, a choreography created by Jean-Claude Gallotta twenty years ago, is currently being performed at the Ballet de Lorraine. The four duets, freed from all convention and perhaps even conformity, vivaciously lively, interpret the passionate tussles of mythical lovers. The four acts of original choreography have wholly retained their initial fire. Docteur Labus is, without doubt, a hymn to life.
